The brochure looked great. Very deceiving. The hotel was very run down. There were rats in the walls. We checked out after 2 nights. They even charged us an extra night because they said in was in the cancellation policy! I did not read that! Do not recommend this hotel. Not a 4 star! More like a 1 star!

A good hotel in a good location. Very friendly but the price of the twin was high for Paris versus the quality offered. Lovely to be able to walk out into the heart of Paris tho. Didn't need the metro at all. Parking is nearby and not too expensive

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially suggesting cafes and restaurants and how to get to various places in Paris. It would have been beneficial if they had served more than a breakfast. Overall I was very pleased and I would stay there again - great location.

BOOKED THIS HOTEL AS PART OF MY MARRIAGE PROPOSAL PLANS AS IT LOOKED LIKE A FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY, HOW WRONG I WAS. THE INTERNET SITE SHOWED PHOTOS WHICH HAD BEEN STRATEGICALLY PLACED TO ENHANCE THE VENUE, IN REALITY IT WAS POKEY AND POORLEY LOOKED AFTER. THE SECOND PROBLEM WAS THE INTERNET SITE ADVERTISED THE PRICE AS ALL INCLUSIVE, WITH THIS I MEEN TAX AND BREAKFAST ETC, IN REALITY WHAT WE WERE CHARGED WAS TAX ON TOP AND EXTRA FOR ITEMS LIKE, JUICE AND BOILED EGG (WHICH I THOUGHT FORMED PART OF YOUR BREAKFAST). OUR STAY SHOULD HAVE BEEN AND WAS QUOTED AT £270EURO BUT WAS CHARGED £310 EURO. YOU DO THE MATHS. WILL NOT BE STAYING AGAIN AND IT DID SPOIL MY PLANS. THE GOOD NEWS IS SHE SAID YES!!

The room had a musty odor and was very cramped, there was not a single drawer for clothes, but many high cabinets. They said there was a moive chanel or pay TV but it didn't work. The en suite bath was okay, and the service was adequet. There was no light in the hallways and the lift was only large enough for one person and a suitcase. The location is ideal.

I've stayed at this hotel three times, and keep returning because of the convenient location. The rooms can be barely larger than the size of the beds, but the bathrooms are modern and spacious by comparable standards. Room decor is somewhat tacky and overwhelming, but occassionally you get a top floor room offering a roof deck, city views or a few extra cubic feet of space! My rooms at this hotel have always been very quiet (usually facing an internal courtyard), and the morning breakfast is enough to get you going for the day. The staff are friendly but businesslike--still very helpful in making suggestions or arranging for an early morning taxi to the airport. At the end of the day, when I travel I don't look for luxurious rooms because I don't intend on spending much time in the room--just looking for a good location that let's me sleep and shower, and this place has always delivered. You could find better values, but I'll probably continue to return here.

Standard room extremely compact. Tranferred to larger room for additional fee which was a great improvement. Good location. Breakfast and public areas perfectly satisfactory.

Our room, on top floor, wad very disappointing. I accept that Paris rooms are small, but this was very very small. One step from door to bed and from bed to bathroom. Brochure and web pictures extremely misleading. Hotel classed as 'luxury'but room decor shabby. Buffet breakfast poor, plentiful bread products but tinned fruit salad offered. Commercial meetings taking place in breakfast area. Toiletries poor quality. Definitely not luxury standard. Excellent location, but nicer hotels available in immediate vicinity i.e Hotel Bonaparte, much more reasonable rates. We would not return to this hotel
