HOTEL REVIEWS

We loved the hotel and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed the Godiva Chocolates every night on the pillow. The only thing that I can fault was the breakfast in the hotel. It seemed to be overpriced for the service that was delivered. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to enjoy a special time in Paris.

The lane the hotel is located in, is pretty seedy, with a hustler strip club almost next door. Our junior suite, while tastefully appointed, was too small and totally different from the representative photograph on the website. All in all, not a bad hotel, but am sure for the 400 euros we paid, there are better options in Paris.

Be careful when walking in the evenings. We where harrazed by 3 young men at the corner of the property, pretty scary! otherwise this property is a great place to stay. we where here for 5 nights & enjoyed every bit of it. If you're up early, coffee will not be ready till 7 am yikes ! !

This hotel was in a good location...easy access to the Champs Elysees...restaurants and shopping. The hotel was quiet and the employees were exceptional! We would definitely stay here again.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel in May 2006 on the way to Amsterdam and Brussels. Beautiful hotel in the very center of the city. Impressive size of the room exceeded our expectations. Very nice, friendly and almost "invisible" staff. Venere's room price is about 50% of the rack rate. Good, isn't it? Public car parking ("Berri -Washington") is available in 100 meters from the hotel (28 Euro per day, special overnight tariff - 7 Euro (between 18-00 and 09-00)). I have no comments on the hotel breakfast because we did not use it during our stay.

Excellent hotel(we were upgraded to a suite).Hotel lobby could be described as unimposing or discrete depending on individual view. Only stayed for four nights so didn't use restaurant or bar and following previous comments we had breakfast elsewhere.Beautifully decorated and furnished rooms spotlessly clean and very comfortable.Nice location close to Champs Elysse and Metro station. I think it would be difficult to find anything better for the money

Every aspect of the hotel met or exceeded our expectations except the air conditioning. It was above 85F in Paris while we were there and quite warm even in the suite.

This hotel is a hidden gem. My one-bedroom suite (Room 22 on the 4th floor) was superbly appointed, with high ceilings, fully-opening French doors and a corner view. The architectural detailing, furnishings and other appointments were spectacular. If you are seeking a small, quiet, luxurious and conveniently-located Paris hotel, look no further.

we wrer not allowed in our room until 3pm.the handle of door fell offin bathroom and could not get out for 2hours .the sliding door in shower fell on top of me. the young lady at reception was very rude .do not go near this place as all the people from clubs are on street until 5am. pure disaster

Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent hotel but it's not quite perfection. Our room was well very well fitted, spacious and superb; all staff very friendly and helpful. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the Champs Elysee (nearest metro) and 10 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. Downside is there was no hot water between 0800 and 0830 (on each of 4 days - 6th floor). A limited breakfast in the hotel on our first morning(at 22 euros which seems expensive) just encouraged us to use facilities outside for the remaining days. Apart from that, it is a memorable hotel to stay at.

I have stayed in Paris over 40 times over the years. Since this was my partners first time I wanted a special experience. The Champs Elysées Plaza made sure of this with the best hotel, service, location and facilities in Paris. Many thanks will always stay here in the future.

Stay of a lifetime!!! The w/e started well when we arrived to be told we had been upgraded to a suite - and what a suite!!! Traditional French style with large marble fireplaces in both the bedroom and sitting room. A huge bathroom with an enormous roll top bath you could get lost in and really good quality Hermes toiletries. Everything about the room was excellent - the huge bed (With great quality sheets), the size of the room, the facilities, the decor and the little touches like the handmade chocolates. However, the real treat was the superb staff. They were so pleasant and courteous - nothing was too much trouble. We were particularly impressed by the fair haired receptionist who we asked to book us a restaurant (We left it up to her). She booked us a table in 'Toi' nearby where we had a fabulous and really resonably priced meal in gorgeous surroundings - They also gave us a complimentry glass of champagne ther because the hotel had sent us - really really nice touch. This hotel is simply beautiful and in an incredible location. However, it is the staff that set it apart - they are world class. Go - you wont be disappointed!!!

Top luxury hotel. Small number of rooms making you feel like guest in private house. Very spacious room and even more spacious bathroom with separate shower and very large bath with jacuzzi. Nice old-fashioned "bourgeois" decoration. Perfect location situated near Champs Elysees, great for shopping and excellent restaurants nearby. Only negative note: poor quality breakfast which is very surprising compared with the excellence of the room and the hotel in general. Excellent vfm. Highly recommended. Will book again if same price.

This was the best hotel I have stayed in. It was only for one night but on arrival I was upgraded to a suite and it was amazing; everything perfect. My girlfriend agreed and said we must go back there again.

Overall, we are very pleased with the stay at this hotel - good service, clean and spacious room, large, modern and clean bathroom; the hotel is well located - just 300-400 meters from Champs Elysees. However, it should be noted that the rooms of the same category (in our case - junior suite) are different - the first night we spent at a worse room than the rest of the stay (smaller, different layout, etc). We asked for a change the same day and were able to change the next day. The new room looked much closer to what we have seen on the site.

This is the best hotel i have ever stay. Good location and very large room. I have only booked for a Junior Suite, but instead they gave me a Superior Suite. I would definately recommend to anyone for this hotel, and I would try to live in here everytime I stay in Paris.

Our stay at Champs Elysees Plaza was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We were at the end of 3 weeks in the U.K. and quite exhausted. Upon arrival in Paris at the hotel, the staff greeted us warmly and attended to our every need. The rooms (we had 2) were immaculate, large and very well appointed. The location is perfect for sightseeing accessible by walking. The reportedly "rude" French attitude is not to be found here! Everyone was most gracious and accomodating. We had room service breakfast one morning and, although a bit pricey, it was delicious and served on time. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is superb and every service person was very/very helpful. The bathrooms are suprisingly large and the shower simply the best you'll likely find in any hotel. The front desk arranged for reservations for us at a 3-star restaurant that normally has a two month wait with 12 hours notice. They did all they could to make it a memorable stay for us. The only problem with the hotel is that the room service menu is quite limited and the quality of that food is not good. But it was a small part of our trip as you are so close to the Champ Elysees (3 blocks) that you are never left wanting for much.

The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The hotel and room was fantastic. Very Luxurious and comfortable. My wife and I will definitely be staying at this hotel on our next trip to Paris.

Overall very happy, the front desk was always helpful, very warm towards Americans, the room choice was important ask to switch if available some rooms are better than others, street view was best, Big bathrooms no jetted tubs just big soaking claw fotted design, shower was big enough and had great water pressure, the shower head was large rain head design, the valve was a thermostatic system and worked well, good bed, big towels, very friendly, we have stayed in Paris for over 18 years and this is a very great value for 275 a nite.
