1. We were able to profit from a special offer. That was very reaonable. The normal rates that are charged for the rooms are, in relation to location and spaciousness of the rooms, too high. 2. There should be (more) no-smoking rooms.

If you're looking for something a bit different, the Villa Lutèce Port Royal is a good choice. It's certainly not in the centre of Paris but is close to the Metro and easy to get to from the major stations. I will certainly be staying there again.
