Excellent place if you want a cheap hotel Very nice personal and great location my only problem was that my first room were located very close to a road and i got disturbed by the traffic but that took the staff care of and let me change room
Sweden, Oct 2008
We had a triple room for one night. It had three normalsized beds, not a roll out or cot for the third person. A rather large room, nicely furnished. Had CNN. Nice, helpful and friendly at the desk. The shower was a fixture without any stall, but workable. Had an elevator, but some steps to get up to it. The beakfast area was a bit of a walk away, into another part of the building, down some corridors and up some stairs. Quite adequate breakfast, though. According to the location shown on the map, I thought it would be closer to Via Nazionale.

It is very close to the SMN Train station. Very clean. very nice view from the balcony in our room - must ask for this room. aircon great. Internet very slow & 1Euro/30mins i thought was a bit much. Day staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but Coffee and fruit juice was good! 5 mins walk from Duomo. Don't eat at the Chinese restaurant near the hotel, it is terrible! No shower curtain or drainage on bathroom floor so bathroom floor floods a bit - towels on the floor fixed that right up tho. overall very good value! will visit again next time i go to Firenze.

It is conveniently located closely to the railway station. Its decoration and lift are really old but tidy and their staff are nice. I think it is suitable for leisure trip like us instead of business since it only has one computer for internet service.

we were in the only room just under the roof, airco seemed to be not big enough to really cool the room and was a bit noisy. breakfast was ok, good coffee, only many times there was no more fruit after 9.00 hours.

El hotel es muy lindo, mejor que lo que aparece en las fotos que figuran en la pagina. La habitacion que me asignaron era muy ruidosa ya que estaba muy cerca del salon de desayuno (habitacion N° 20). La atencion es excelente.

This place is very close to the train station but does not seem like it. The room was large for Europe, quiet and peaceful- we had a flower box covered balcony on the rear side of the building where we could hear only birds, with a view of the Duomo. The staff were all very accommodating, made a dinner reservation for us when we asked for help and mapped our route there. The shower water pressure was great. The beds were pretty old with flat pillows but this is what I found all over Europe in the hotels in this price range. Definitely a very good value for Florence and a very pleasant stay.

I had been afraid of the wall between two languages but it didn't matter so much. Hotel staffs had excellent communication skills and I had been completely at ease during my stay. The breakfasts were also good because I could choose what I ate with my morn style.

The photographs on the wesbite didn't do the hotel justice, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Cellini. It was clean and spacious with a nice selection in the mini bar. The only downside I had was that although 'Hotel Cellini' was displayed on the outside of the building, when I walked up to the 3rd floor, another hotel name was displayed, which made me panic a bit as I thought that I had booked a hotel that had gone out of business, but when I asked the receptionist where the hotel Cellini was, he said I was at the right place, just that it had another name. I don't know why.

The hotel was slightly over priced. European travelers, READ REVIEWS!!! # of stars are generally meaningless. The hotel was basic, but clean. The breakfast room was on the top floor and had a great view of the city. I would stay again for a lesser price. Shower is super small and not large enough for 2, however pressure and hot water were fine. Note: Hotel Cellini and Hotel Fiorita are the SAME PLACE.
