Not deserving of 3-star status. Rooms were very shabby -- wallpaper peeling off, beat-up furniture, broken TV. More expensive than much finer hotels in Rome and elsewhere. No elevator, so if you have luggage, you will be asked to help the bellhop bring it upstairs. We do not recommend it.

I had a single room on the top floor and was very comfortable except for an odd odor when I first entered the room. It was the biggest single that I have stayed in while in Europe. My sister had a double and while it was large, the air condition was too weak to cool her room properly. Great location. Nice staff. Nice little restaurant next door for breakfast.

The location is very good,the employees also. But I must climb up 84 marches to arrive at my room on 2nd floor, there is no elevator. the break fast is poor. 379euros for 3 nights is,I think, too expensive.

Service was excellent as a 3star hotel,however,there were a lot of mosquitoes inside the rooms and we couldn't able to sleep.As I stung by a mosquitoes,they should take measures to meet the situation. The machine in the room to kill mosquito was not working and the others as well.

Maybe we only had the worst room in the hotel, but I never would go there again! the staff is very nice, but the room is extreme loud, small, bathroom is small and old. The good thing is, that you are between the railway station and the center of the city. I could accept this hotel for the half rate, but it is really to expensive!!

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the A1 highway, exit at Firenze Nord if you are arriving from the North, or Firenze Sud if you are arriving from the South, follow directions to the Centro, then to the Santa Maria Novella railway station. Please contact the property prior to arriving by car for further information on exactly which route to take once you arrive at the station.

By train
The hotel can be reached on foot in around 5 minutes from the Santa Maria Novella railway station.

By airplane
From the airport, either take a taxi or the Vola in bus shuttle service which takes only 20 minutes to reach the Santa Maria Novella railway station.
