The Martini Hotel, formerly known as Hotel Weeva, has been a hospitable home for guests from all over the world since its establishment in 1871.

The Martini Hotel is a modern and comfortable hotel with great personal care for its guests. The hotel is open 24 hours a day and has its own parking lot (EUR 7.50 per night, a touring car costs EUR 25 per night). Reservation is not possible.

Food & beverage

After your night in the Martini Hotel the delicious breakfast buffet is served in the Grand Café. Start your day well with fresh bread, while looking out over the bustling city of Groningen.

The Martini Hotel is proud to welcome you to its original Grand Café. The Grand Café is very attractive and furnished in the style of the 1930s. Enjoy a glass of wine, a cold beer or an aperitif.

You can have a delightful dinner at the restaurant De Heeren van Martini, situated next to the hotel. In a relaxed atmosphere you can enjoy the most delicious cuisine. Depending on the season, the restaurant offers a number of special draught or bottled beers.

The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Perfect location (in the city centre), parking space available, lobby manned 24/7. We stayed at the rear of the building so we were not bothered by sounds from the street. Good beds.

At 9AM drilling and hammering in the room next door started. At 9:30 the maid entered without warning. So much for our plans to sleep until 11AM.

Live fire, cosy hall-room, cleaniness of the room, great breakfast, one boy at the reception (name sounds like Haike) advised us on transport. In addition, we could easily use the Internet.

The staff is not always attentive to needs: nobody offered help with luggage, though maybe it is not included in service. Then it's OK.
