The Bay of Islands Hotel is situated on four and a half acres of well-maintained, park-like grounds. The village with its many craft and souvenir shops and the wharf, from where cruises, fishing and sailing charters depart, is within easy walking distance. All of 38 chalet style units have exposed timber beam ceilings, giving an ambience of the European theme throughout.
