Very nice Hotel. Big rooms very clean. The only problem was the price of the breakfast, very expensive. I would stay again there.

Extremely noisy (drunk) guests kept it going very late the first night (which was a surprise, as it was Christmas Eve) but the following 3 nights were quiet. Rooms and hallway had very worn og soiled carpets, but otherwise fairly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke more than adequate English. Very nice breakfast with lots of fruits, fresh juices, large selection of breads and cakes, nice ham and cheese, etc. but quite expensive (EUR 15.5). Nevertheless, the Bel Art is good value for money and metro made it easy to get around - but we would probably choose hotel nearer centre of town next time, now that we know that a quiet hotel is possible to find off La Rambla. Note that the so-called 3-day metro ticket is actually only valid for 48 hours... at least ours were.

The hotel BelArt is a great value in Barcelona. It's about 10 minutes walking to Sagrada Familia and five minutes from a metro stop that can have you at Las Ramblas in 15 minutes. Parking is in an underground garage that directly accesses the hotel elevators. Overall, you can't go wrong with BelArt. We booked two rooms and it was a great deal for Barcelona. By the way, Barcelona is an amazing city!

This is a very good deal for Barcelona. Beautiful and spacious room, free mini-bar drinks, free wireless. The only negatives are an outrageously overpriced breakfast (for almost 15 euros a person we skipped it), location a bit inconvenient to the center, and not many knowledgeable staff to help with suggestions and directions.

If we had to say something less positiv, it would be about the smoke odor in our room. Also, the breakfast was not included, but we decided to eat anyway in the hotel. The buffet was nice, but quite expensive (15€ per person). Finally, the hotel is well situated for visiting the city, but as the Metro is closed at midnight, you have to take a taxi or to walk from the beach (as it's where the citiy lives during the night) to the hotel, which is quite away after a day spent visiting.

We rented a double room which was a pretty good size. The hotel is at a good location from the metro stop Alfonso X. The staff was very friendly. I went in November and the only problem was that the A/C was turned off for the winter and the room was very hot. We couldn't completely open the window because it would get blocked by the window frame. Other than that, the stay was excellent!

breakfast was good but expensive (Eat out). We may have been unlucky but electricity failed one evening between 11pm and 2am. A fire alarm went off in the early hours of another night - Staff merely shrugged their shoulders at these as minor inconveniences - no apologies. The hotel is a good base for seeing Barcelona. Well placed for Metro, Familia Sagrada (10 min walk) and Parc Guell (20 min walk)

Very nice hotel. This hotel did what it said on the tin, nice, clean, and cheap. I noticed from other reviews that the nightclub next door caused some noise, however we stayed from Sun - Weds and it was closed every night. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was not huge but was nice and clean. This hotel is a 10 min walk (downhill) to the Sagrada Família, which was fine for us, as there were several nice resturants near by. Bar next door was very nice to. The breakfast is not included, but there is a lot of choice and it is worth the money if you can eat a lot.

Hotel Bel Art is a very good option! It is new, its rooms and public areas are clean and nicely furnished, and its restaurant serves very good meals. It takes only 8 minutes to walk down to La Sagrada Familia and its metro station, or 5 minutes up to the Alfons X metro station. We strongly recommend Bel Art!

Good value for the spaciousness and quality of the accomodation and public area. Small irritation from noisy customers discharged from adjacent nightclub during small hours. Filed to find book left in room despite notification only a few h after departure.

Very nice hotel, though a bit out of the way and not as near to the Sagrida Famila as we thought, although walkable. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially with the cab drivers who tried to overcharge us for trip to airport. They were happy to make recommendations as to things to do and places to eat dinner. Went to bullfight!

Quite far from the subway nearest station (Hosp.St.Pau), with a Discoteque close to the main entrance. Interior appearence good but unlucky postion from the main turistic sites (such as Sagrada Familia, barri gotic and so far). Too expensive

My husband and I are totally happy with Venere.Com. This is the first time we booked our hotel online, not knowing what to expect, but hoping for the best. As it turns out, it was everything we hoped for. The reservations were made according to our request. The hotel was very good, as advertised. The staff were friendly and helpful. We have absolutely nothing but praise for the whole experience. The only thing that was unsatisfactory was the taxi that we ordered through the hotel to take us to the airport. It probably has nothing to do with the hotel. When it arrived, the meter had 4.70 Euro on it, we thought that we might have to pay for the time for it to pick us up, so we were o.k. with it. When we arrived at the Airport, the meter had less than 19 Euro, but the driver wanted to add another 10 Euro on top of it. I understand we may be charged for the luggage, but we only had one overnight bag, one small luggage and one garment bag. It should never cost 10 Euro. The taxi that took us from the Cruise Ship Port to Belart Hotel only charges us 4 Euro for the luggage, for a total 14.80 Euro.

Really well kept hotel, extremely clean and presentable. 10 minute walk down hill to the Sagrada Familia and Avenue Gaudi, which has some good restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk up a steep hill to the nearest tube station. This is a good hotel if you dont want to be in the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas. Well served by the tube which will get you to all the tourist sights within 15 mimutes. Very helpful and welcoming staff. There is a night club located next door to the hotel, you are aware of the bass beat but it did not particularly bother us.

I found the Bel Art to be good accomodations, but not ****. Since I speak no Spanish or Catalan, I was pleased that the staff spoke english well and had english menus in the restaurant. I had a very early flight and the front desk had a cab waiting just like I asked for. Room was very small but I asked for an economy room. One curiosity: no ice machine. It was hot in Barcelona!

Great Hotel...only a couple of stops on the metro from the city centre and withinin a few minutes walking distance of the Sagrada Familia...only downside was the large nightclub next door...we couldn't sleep for the first night but the staff moved us to a different room which was more quiet for the rest of our stay

Had a very enjoyable stay at Bel Air. The staff were on the reception desk were extremely helpful, and contributed greatly to the visit. The room was not particularly big, but it was clean, and with all the facilities you would expect. The hotel itself is a little off thge tourist drag: Sagrada is about 10 mintues walk away, but it is handy for the underground. I would definitely stay there again.

The only issue I had was the constant noise throughout the night from the nightclub next door. For this reason alone I would not return to the hotel, nor would I recommend it to friends or family. This is a real shame because I could not fault the hotel itself!

We pre-booked the hotel well in advance. When we arrived at the hotel there had been a flood on the first floor. Therefore a double room was not available and we had to share a single. We were promised a double for our second night. This meant that we had to keep our case packed so it could be moved to the new room whilst we were out during the day. Upon our return to the hotel our new room was not ready and we had to wait a further hour before we could go to our new room. We were offered no discount for the inconvenience.

Situated away from the centre but a few blocks away from the Cathedral. Breakfast was not included in the price and would cost £16 each so we always had breakfast outside in one of the many bars. Mini Bar was well stocked, usual hotel prices and the safe box was free The only critisism is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in room
