We stayed for 5 nights in triple rooms, and had no problems. Good stuff: (1) Friendly and helpful staff; (2) Hotel had all the facilities we needed - safe, fridge/mini-bar, TV came in handy when lounging; (3) Central location - was walking distance to sites, restaurants and shops. However: (1) Noise (running water) could be heard from the room above when the bathroom was presumably being used. This might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. (2) Bonus would be to have breakfast included in the price, though it was available separately for 10 euros, which is perhaps a bit steep. Would recommend.

We were on our honeymoon and when we booked on the internet we mentioned this fact. When we arrived in our room we were delighted that it was a lovely 5th floor room overlooking the plaza and there was a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us.

We were in a group of 4, rooms are quite spacious. Very good location.. easy to get food, transport and shopping. The staffs are helpful and friendly, especially a lady named Jolanda :-) she's been helpful when i called her. I will definitely stay at Juan Miguel next time I'm in Granada and will recommend it to my friends as well. Thanks Venere for having Juan Miguel in the list

We got a great room with a view and were generally very pleased with the quality to price ratio! No breakfast was included in our price, but there's a café that belongs to the hotel in the same building were you can have good bocadillos with the locals.

We booked 2 double and two triple rooms. one of the triple rooms (402) was very spacious . the other three rooms were a bit cramped. We did however enjoy the stay and found the hotel good value for money.

This hotel is really well located in Puerta Royal, and an easy walking distance to lots of good places. The staff spoke good English, but I found that they, and just about the whole of Granada not really well geared up for tourists. For example, the hotel staff did not know where the airport bus went from, how long it took, or what it cost. The tourist information office had virtually no information about the sights in Granada. You need a really good guide book in Spain. The breakfast in the hotel was extra, and very expensive - I recommend using the little cafeteria at the back of the hotel which was much better value.

;P! Nuestra conclusión es que estamos muy satisfechos.

Very comfortable hotel in good location, close to the cathedral area. Airport bus stop just down the road and the local tourist bus stops nearby. Very good breakfast available but cheaper to eat in the attached cafe. The only problem experienced was noise in the hotel itself which carried between rooms and along corridors but this would not stop us from using this hotel again!

This hotel lived up to every expectation..and more. It was brilliantly located for touring Granada and skiing in the Sierra Nevada. It was also very good value for money. The staff were helpful and we would certainly recommend!

good, centrally situated hotel with friendly, helpful and some English speaking staff; breakfast charge at Eu. 10 is a bit steep but choice is excellent. Car parking is expensive and difficult, but I used public transport to get around which was OK. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The location of this hotel is it's best feature. The double rooms are pretty standard compared to other european hotels. However, the triple appeared to be the same room they use as a quadruple and was huge with a great view over the square that is in front of the hotel.

Hotel is very easy to find. Good directions from Venere. Very good location for sight seeing.large spacious room for European standards. Mini bar at very reasonable prices. A small coffee shop 50 yards down the street La Tran (The train) is perfect for a good coffee and a danish ! The only negative is that the hotel is on a fairly busy street so the weekend when we stayed got a little bit noisy, but don't let this put you off. We would recommend it.

Good hotel for family groups, very suitably located, downtown...but it was difficult to reach there the first time as leading roads were diverted and to go around was not that obvious for new visitors...

Hotel is ok. Location is great, just 10 minutes walk from Plaza Nueva. Our room was small and noisy in the morning (even if it was on the back). It seemed much bigger on the web site. Air conditioning is very noisy. Bathroom is old. I espected a bit more from this hotel. Reception is very kind and the underground parking is very comfortable (there s a lift from the garage to the ground floor where reception is). It's very hard to get there because of one way streets and also very expensive (14 euros per 24 hours!)

Quiet, VERY conveniently located in centre of Granada, easy walking distance to majority of sights and university, friendly non-intrusive ambiance, very helpful front desk, excellent breakfast ( range of food) to provide sustenance for a busy day... a good price. Loved the many squares in the proximity of the Hotel and the nightly presence of families, from the most youthful to the elderly. I enjoyed.

The Juan Miguel is a great place to stay for the value. The staff is awesome and the place is perfectly located. Finding the hotel by car is a little difficult if you don't know Granada well. Ave. Recogida appears closed, but you can drive down it if you have a reservation at the hotel. If we had known that before, it would have saved us an hour of driving through Granada. The staff was especially helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel! A lot of people on this site have complained about noise. i don't know what they expected from a hotel in a city?? We stayed on the street side and slept very well. It was significantly quieter than our apartment in NYC.

The hotel is in the commercial center, with a great location. The two rooms were very quiet, (even though ours was next to the elevator). Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The bath towels were large and luxurious. It was a pleasure to stay there.

The Juan Miguel is a really great hotel. Perfectly situated for access to all the things worth seeing in Granada. The room we had at the front of the hotel was enormous with a great marble bathroom and had a queen sized bed. The only slight downside that's worth mentioning was that because our room was at the front we did get some traffic noise. However, this wasn't a problem for us and I would happily stay in the same room again. If you want a quieter room, I guess you could ask for one at the back of the hotel but it's probably worth noting that these looked smaller on the plan (though still more than adequate!). We got great service from their very friendly staff and made use of their laundry service which was also excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to people going to Granada.

This hotel was in a wonderful, central location. It was easy to find, and parking was just 50m down the street from the front door. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and extremely spacious. The room was quiet, and was easy to access with big bags. The bathroom was clean as well. I would definitely stay here again should I ever visit Granada again!!

Positive: central, inner city is in walking distance, hotel offers good and rich breakfast (did not await that at the first look on the hotel), price was fair (room 50 Euros, plus 10 Euros breakfast p.P.) Negative: as we expected, the room was noisy at night (from traffic and loud people), the bathroom and the interior of the room has seen better days…I would say like a typical city hotel in southern Europe.

Not too difficult to reach according to the pedestrain area in wich it's located, the garage is fondamental. In the Center of the City foot range from everithing. We suggest a deep clean of the fornitures and room cloath but it's a good hotel.

Excellent value for the price- clean, great location, cable TV. The staff was very helpful. The only thing is that the pipes from the other rooms are loud while the showers are running. I would definitely stay there again. Parking available across the street in a parking garage below the plaza- you can pay 10 euros per day through the hotel. Taxi stand right in front. Signs in town make it easy to find.

The hotel is in good location not far from attractions and in the shopping area. We didn't have a car so the confusing traffic was no problem for us but could be a problem for those arriving by car. The only minor problem with the room was the lack of a minibar or a refrigerator.

L'auto e' assolutamente sconsigliabile. In Andalusia andateci in aereo e usate i mezzi pubblici (eccellenti).
