Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the hotel was well placed between the old and new towns. There was insufficient local information in the room so we were reliant on staff. The bathroom was a bit of a disappointment- the basin was cracked, the a tap was broken and the shampoo dispenser was empty. |

It's a new hotel in a refurbished building with a modern decoration. The rooms are good and it has a nice bar. The hotel has an agreement with one of the cities car parks, allowing for a 20% discount in the park fare. This is a good thing, but the park is still very expensive. |

The Restaurant was excellent both for Evening meals and Breakfast. Hotel was a good base for exploring Edinburgh. Good location. No temprature control in the bedroom. Auto control and ventilation was not good. |

Location. Room was spectacular! Huge picture window view of the castle from our 4th floor room. Nice divider doors between sleeping area and sitting area w/view. Very modern room. |

The hotel was in easy walking distances for shops and bars and resturants making it an ideal place to stay The hotel corridors should be made lighter as the colours are very dark also the bedroom doors should have a softer close so they are not slammed |

Absolutely excellent location, everything of any interest in close walking distance. Efficient and friendly staff, both on reception and the maids. Nice bar and lovely resaurant, if a little overly priced, but to be expected from a hotel bar and restaurant. I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone. Did not like having to pay for my stay, in full, on arrival. |
