Overlooking Folkestone’s Leas promenade and the English Channel, this attractive Grade 2 listed Victorian building stands in its own grounds and is ideally situated close to the town centre.
The Burlington offers a tranquil setting and a great location just a few miles from the Channel Tunnel and the ferry terminals, making it ideal for visitors travelling to and from the continent. It is just a short drive from Dover harbour port, from where day trips to Calais in France and Ostend in Belgium are available.
The hotel’s locally renowned Bay Tree restaurant serves international dishes and traditional English food, while the Bay Tree bar is the perfect place to relax with a light meal.
The hotel has good meeting facilities and all 5 conference suites and 4 seminar rooms are perfectly suitable for private functions, weddings, conferences and exhibitions, with the latest audiovisual equipment available on request.

By Car (from central England/M25 orbital motorway):
- Take the M20 towards Folkestone.
- Turn off at junction 13, A20 for Folkestone.
- Take the 3rd exit off the 1st roundabout which is signposted A20 Folkestone; this will lead you to another roundabout.
- Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout into Cherry Garden Lane and continue until the traffic light junction.
- Take the middle lane to Beachborough Road, going under the bridge and bear left into Shorncliffe Road.
- Take the 6th turning on the right which is signposted Hythe and Hastings.
- This is Earl's Avenue and Quality Hotel Burlington is situated at the end.
