The hotel was great - really close to the Earl's Court tube station. The staff were excellent, and breakfast was great.

Loads of restaurants in the area, our favorite in an alley across from the Kings Arms pub, The Little French Restaurant. Next to that, a wonderful little wine bar and a little further towards the underground station, a lovely Thai restaurant.

This hotel is a most pleasant stay. I will certainly stay here in the future. It is convenient to the Tube, which makes the whole city accessible. The staff was accomodating and hospitable. The room was clean and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay. I have stayed at this hotel three times before and it was always very nice. Very close (half block) to underground transportation. Very competent and friendly staff. Good full English breakfast (extra cost) and great back yard area where you can sit outside. Good internet access. The price has gone up a lot in the last two years but isn't too bad compared to other similar places.

TheAmsterdamlookedexcellentonthewebsitebut theroomwhichwe wereprovidedwas, although clean very poorly decorated with the carpets being threadbare. It was November, the heating was not switched on and we were only provided with a sheet and thin beadspread. There was also only enough water for one shower and the room was for a family of four. The hotel was also stated as non smoking but, the room we were allocated stank of cigarettes (furniture included) and when we brought this to the attention of the staff we were handed a cheap tin of air freshener to resolve the problem. I can only assume that the rooms shown on the website were for advertising purposes only, as our room bore no resemblance whatsoever to those.

This was the last place I stayed during a two-week trip through England, Wales & Ireland, and it was easily one of the nicest. As a single traveler, I'd sometimes found myself in what seemed to have once been a maid's cell in the attic. Here, I was stunned to get a lofted suite on the ground floor. To me, it felt like a cathedral. And the room looked almost brand-new as well. Mind you, they appeared to be doing renovations right outside my door, judging by the plastic on the floor, and late at night, I could hear the desk clerks chatting far too well. And the breakfast was ... okay, I suppose. But overall, those are quibbles. The rooms are comfortable, the location is great, the garden out back is a nice touch, and the staff is friendly. I'd definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel and stay; clean rooms, pretty courtyard, luggage delivered to room, good breakfast (extra cost for full service meal0, very near underground, courteous staff and bigger than average room. Very tiny lift, TV and bathroom. Overall good value.

Amsterdam attracted our interest due to it's lower end pricing. Whilst it was a little further away from Central London, it was extremely close to the rail system and had all local amenities close by. The rooms were very clean and had all the facilities we needed as a family of four. Beds were comfortable and the only drawback was that the room was very warm and there was unfortunately little we could do to change that. The staff were very courteous and helpful and I would recommend the Amsterdam to the individual traveller or small families.

The management and employees were very helpful and competent, as well as friendly and very helpful with luggage. The rooms were furnished with a variety of pillows and linens were very adequate; facilities for making tea were provided and appreciated. Internet assess was available free of charge. Breakfast was available in a charming dining area. Staff was exceptional. The rooms were not air-conditioned, which could be a problem in summer. Our bath was tiny, but spotless and adequate. The noise level on the street side is higher. We all enjoyed our stay at the Amsterdam and would use it again.

Nice small hotel, situated in central London with easy underground access. As with most London hotels, prices are comparable high.

We stayed in the "Amsterdam" for two nights. There was a lot of space in the room and it was nice decorated and furnished. The bathroom was a little bit small, but everything was very clean.Nearby the hotel there are a lot of pubs and some restaurants. The tube-station (earls court) is just around the corner. For a three-star the quality is excellent for a reasonable price in London.

The rooms are very tiny; the bathroom has a small sink and a shower is composed of a water hose and a hole to drain the water. Although, the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, if a person in an adjacent room smokes, your room gets all the second hand smoke. Do not expect to get checked in before 12:30, so don't schedule your plane for an early arrival because you will be exhausted with no place to stay. Although the breakfasts are included, you only get toast and canned fruit. I would recommend paying a little bit more and get a more descent hotel stay.

Would have been nice to have been able to have an evening meal in the hotel but there are plenty of resturants nearby to choose from. A little noise from revellers disturbed my sleep but that was out of your control.

Very pleasant hotel, staff more than helpful. Location perfect for our requirements on this trip.Only concern would be the size of the bathroom / shower rooms, but cannot fault the cleanliness and warmth. Continental breakfast more than adequate and full breakfast looked very good.

This hotel is well located to visit the center of London and to reach Heathrow airport by underground (Piccadilly Line). It is a tiny hotel, all renovated. Enviroment, inside and outside of this hotel, is good and quiet. Fares have a good value, too.

We stayed in the Amsterdam Hotel for two nights. The rooms were very nice decorated, everything was just refurbished. There was a lot of space in the room and everything was new and clean. The lady from the reception as wel as the maids were very, very nice and helpfull. For a three-star London hotel, the quality is excellent. The tube-station is also very nearby. I would recommend this hotel to everybody who is looking for a good hotel for a reasonable price in London. When we visite London next time we will book the Amsterdam Hotel again!!

As an asthmatic,I found the stairs difficult as the lift was not working during our stay. Also maid service was late in the day. However the level of cleanleness was excellent. Overall an enjoyable stay and I will be using the hotel again next time I visit London.

The location is great: the subway stop is around the corner, and there are plenty of family restaurants within walking distance. The Hotel is newly renovated, and on a quiet street. The decoration is modern and colorful, with some quite good art on the walls. We had a very good stay!
