We booked a double room, but were given a twin. The window (single glazed...) was cracked from side to bottom, and repaired with sellotape. The carpets in the corridors were stained. I was looking forward to the highlight of a stay at any British hotel, the full English cooked breakfast in the morning. More disappoitnment here, just slabs of cheese, ham, croissant and bread - totally continental fare to suit the clientele, as you won't hear English spoken in the breakfast room. Good location near Marble Arch, but it was £70 for what felt like a bottom-of-the-range £18-per-night B&B.

The room was small but adequate. The room was on the ground floor at the back and was quiet dispite being in central London. The hotel was really well situated to get to all the tourist sites since it was close to buses and trains.

We were very fortunate to get one of the larger rooms in the hotel, located in the back of the hotel, away from the street. I wouldn't call it a large room, but compared to others in London, it was at least adequate. The hotel was also in an excellent location.
