The hotel was clean and conveniently located near Paddington Station and the Heathrow express to the airport. We thought it was good value if small.

My complaint is with Venere. I needed to change the reservation and no one available on the weekend at Venere to do it; and the hotel was unwilling to help.

Booked for he Beverly City but moved to Nyland on arrival. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean and tidy. Room was small but ok by london standards, very clean, especially the bathroom which was newly refurbished. Ask for a room at the back and you'll not be disturbed by traffic noise. All in all a good hotel at a good price.

My family (two little girls)and I stayed in London for a long week end on December. The hotel is perfect for this kind of holiday;the relationship between price and quality is superb! It is quite and in a good position, very closed to the tube. The room was clean and the bathroom a little small but we really stayed in so few time! Just for having a shower and sleeping!Only a problem; breakfast room is small and uncomfortable! To be recommended.

We stayed at the Nayland Hotel the week before the Beverly Hotel, the Nayland did not have any rooms available, and for this reason we end up at this hotel, but for the price was OK hotel, It was noise because next door was doing some construction work all day.

The only problem is that the breakfast was disapointing and the room would look much more nice if the wallpaper would stay on the walls.Overall i think the room could need a makeover

Very nice hotel next to Paddington Station (3 min.), excellent service, very clean compared to many other typical London city-hotels. Very quiet, because the lounge and bar are located in a linked hotel next door. Only one negative remark: far too many tables and chairs in the small breakfast-room which makes it very uncomfortable having breakfast there.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beverley City Hotel. The reception staff were friendly and always helpful. The location was perfect - close to Paddinton station for train and metro and in a lovely quiet area near Hyde Park. The room was small but more than adequate, the breakfast was very good. All in all an extremely positive experience!

Berverly Hotel was placed in a really nice building just a couple of minutes walk frm Paddington Station. The rooms were really clean and well provided, though rather small. The toilets had been recently refurbished, so they were in excellent conditions. Customer service was really nice. There was a problem and reception staff was more than eager to help. Price quality relation is more than good.

We were looking for just one night in London where we could wake up the next morning and fly out of Heathrow without a problem. This area was perfect. It is literally a block from Paddington station which has the direct links to the airport by train/tube. The neighborhood had a wonderful nightlife and we had a cozy dinner and a few drinks just down the street from our hotel. The staff at this hotel wasn't particularly versed in too many tourist attractions, but they were friendly enough to suit us. Our room was clean, and the bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled. However, if you are a light sleeper, you may not want to be close to the street. There was definately some noise at night. We would stay here again in a minute. Especially for these prices!

It was a good place to stay and got a better value by doing the reservation over the internet. The location is excellent. The London Bombings occurred the next day after arriving. It affected what we did and how we felt. The place was very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel, Clean, Excellent location, We arrived at Heathrow late and took the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. It was a 5 minute walk to the hotel. However, we had to check in at the Nayland Hotel a couple of doors down. It was a little confusing but no big deal. The area seemed very safe. The room, although small, had everything you could need. I would definately stay again and would recommend to friends.

Though we made reservations for the Beverly City hotel, when we got there they made us move a few doors down to the Nayland, their sister hotel. This was nice because they diodn't charge us any extra. However the room we got did not have a double bed in it like we had wanted, instead it had two twin size beds pushed together. O well we made it work. The only other problem was that we had to leave the windows open for our entire two night stay due to the smell of smoke wich permeated the room. It must just be a European thing though because all the rooms smelled that way. It was fine for the price, even though in the states you can get a B&B delux suite for the same price. London is an expensive city but this is a good deal.

What a nightmare! The Beverly City Hotel is managed jointly with 2 other hotels. When we arrived there were no rooms available so we were told to leave our luggage and come back later. Later, we were directed to a hotel a few doors down. There we were given a room, called 15 minutes later and moved to another room. There are no elevators and it was not fun to carry our suitcases around. The desk staff incorrectly charged our credit card and wasn't able refund us correctly. The room was disgusting and insecure. Wallpaper was falling of the walls, everything was filthy, and the window didn't shut or lock. Housekeeping missed our room and the front desk couldn't do anything about it. The free breakfast was supposed to be a choice of cornflakes or eggs/beans, but they ran out of cornflakes and service was extremely RUDE. We tried to discuss our situation with the hotel manager. He lied to us, raised his voice, and insulted me. It was completely unprofessional. There are many other hotels in this area. PLEASE DON'T RUIN YOUR TRIP TO LONDON BY STAYING HERE!

I really liked the room and location. There was no elevator, so it was a hike to the forth floor. But, the room was comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. The room was cleaned well everyday. The walls were somewhat thin but not too bad. The breakfast was simple. The only big trouble was the breakfast room is really to small for many guests. All in all a great price for a room close to a safe neighborhood and the underground. There is a great pub around the corner and a internet cafe just down the street from that. The big bus tour has a stop about a block away. Theres a laundrymat really close as well as a fish and chips that is awesome. I'd stay there again.

It was a good stay, except for the fact that breakfast wasn't included in price and sometimes in the morning the water of the shower was cold. When we arrived, they gave us a twin instead of a double, but when I told the receptionist that I had reserved a double, he moved us to another room. Rooms are small but very clean and warm, the hotel is new or completely refurbished.

after booking the hotel the previous night before my stay i was surprised by the quality of the hotel, that i received, the rooms were very clean and were bigger enough for the amount of people staying in it. The staff were helpful and willing to help. As having two children with be i was offered the chioce to book beakfast for 3 pound per person extra, i booked the breakfast as i thought this was very reasonable and it was, for 3 pound the children and i enjoyed sitting down to the variety on offer. The location of the hotel was right next to Paddington station and you can jump on and of the tube to see all the sights and go shopping. Overall i would feel very happy to stay at this hotel when travelling to London.

When I arrived at Beverley City Hotel I have been moved at Nayland Hotel at about 20 mt, because they didn't have my room and they redirected my reservation in that hotel (of the same group, I think). The new hotel was similar to the Beverley City (same street, same kind of building). Also if we were three people, we got a quad room with two double bed. The room was clean, services not much spacious but acceptable. The breakfast wasn't full of food but just all right for the price we paid. I suggest a stay in this hotel to any kind of normal visitor. Sorry for my bad english.

The service of the hotel in general was excellent from the point of you that even though they never received my reservation, they tried to accomodate me & my mother in an other room in an other hotel. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH VENERE.COM SERVICE THOUGH!!!
