For the price this was a great place to stay in London. The location in Canary Wharf is excellent as you have everything you need right there and can be in the centre of the city in minutes, yet at the same time it's a safe and quiet area. The hotel itself seems most suited to business travellers and there is quite a formal atmoshpere. Prices are hiked for breakfast and parking to match the 4star status, but there are cafes nearby which are better for meals and an NCP car park close by is £11 for 24 hours, better than the £15 charged between 6pm and 9am and £3 an hour thereafter. All told, however, this is a great base for seeing London.

Heating in the room did not work. It was 30+C and when we phone to have it fixed - they turned it off. Breakfast was not worth the £12 each. Very stickey. Tables were not wiped properly from previous guests. Construction going on next to hotel. Would not recommend it to anyone. The hotel itself was fine the room and the food were the issue.

We went there with one child and one baby, the hotel was perfect in everything, the tube is not far away but neither so close if you have baggage. I would come there!

Really good hotel and good location. One suggestion: improve the quality of the breakfast. To be honest it was worse than in any 3-star hotel where I've been before, and yours is a 4-star hotel.

Bed was hard as a rock. Pillows very very thin. As a result could not sleep. Breakfast looked inedible so I passed but they put it on my bill anyway. Had to ask for it be removed. Public internet access difficult as only one computer available. Checked out after two days as found the could not bear it a moment longer. Very quiet surrounds at night, great shopping for clothes at Canary wharf. Rooms very large but decor ghastly.

This was my first stay at the hotel, I was more than satisfied with the standard. The location was a bit away from the center but this was not a big problem, since the subway is close by and it takes only about 15 minutes to get to Picadilly Circus. I paid 5£ for 1 week access to the swimming pool, jacuzi, steam bath, sauna and the surprisingly well equiped gym. I found the staff profesional and helpful. I asked to change room after the second day because I was not satisfied with the view; straight into the ventilation system of the hotel. I requested therefore to change to another room, they did without any hesitation. The room was much bigger with a view of the Thames river. I will certainly return to this hotel!

We wanted a double and got two singles but together and so we felt the crack, also you could feel the springs in the beds which wasn't very comfotable. The welcoming was not very good. They didn't come out from behind the table to help with anything but got the reservation processed quickly. the employees were very competent in screwing you. The charge for the pool they didn't forget that, the £14 breakfast they didn't forget. The area was nice. we got some wine and went to the little park in the area which was really nice and secluded. it is a bit of a hike into the city but it's doable.

Triple room ordered for three adults, we did not expect the third bed to be a short camping bed. A coach/bed would have been more suitable. We had dinner at the Pizzeria on the Saturday night and had the following experience: House wine (red) ordered was served very warm! When notifying the waiter that this wine must have been microwaved, he took the bottle away, immediately returned telling us that this wine was supposed to be warm. We estimated the temperature of the wine to be at least 35 centigrades. We were supplied with icecubes to cool the wine. The meals ordered, a lasagna and two carbonaras were very disappointing. The carbonaras consisted of a thick white sauce covering the pasta, some cheese taste, and a few pieces of ham. A meal at a takeaway shop would have been better and cheaper!

Considering the amount of money paid and that it is a four star hotel i would of thought that the air conditionining in the room would work, the facilities would be better quality, ironing facilities would not have to be shared if trouser press does not work and finally you should not be a guest at your hotel and have to pay for parking faclities. If I was informed of this fact before I parked I would not have parked in the hotel car park.

A very pleasant short stay. After an initial problem where I asked to change rooms as the room allocated (401) was quite small - but more to the point had an awful outlook over a roof onto other buildings. After a little prevarication the young man at the desk moved us to room 302 which was larger and had a great view across the water. Some of the staff were "polite rather than pleasant" - but we enjoyed our stay. There was a discount on breakfast for an internet booking which was good and the full breakfast was excellent. (Although they couldn't find any brown sauce !!!)

50 pounds by night is a really good relationship between price/quality, but it was a january reduction only.

The price of the room was quite cheap but it was not indicated that breakfast (12 £ per person) was not included. We came by car, and the parking of the hotel costed us 15 £ (we arrived after 11:00 and left at about 10:30 !!! What looked a great bargain turned out to be quite expensive.... Otherwise the rooms and views were excellent but the welcome really poor and not very friendly and helpful.
