HOTEL REVIEWS
Mature couple
United Kingdom, Oct 2008
The hotel is adequate; the position is great, the breakfast isn't included but is good value being a buffet. The cleaning service was superb, with clean linen daily, but the internet is overpriced at £3/hour. The majority of staff have english as a 2nd language, and don't always understand immediately.

Quite modern bathrooms; tea facilities available; nice and quiet surroundings; central location; it should be indicated on the webpage which bus is stopping directly at the hotel.

Room was tiny and stifling hot, even with the radiator off. Quality of fittings and furniture was basic. The restaurant was however a pleasant surprise and provided a good breakfast.

Clean, but totally characterless hotel. Bathroom tiny. OK for a night as an alternative to paying £30 more for another train ticket, but highlights why London is best avoided!

I was surprised to find an additional booking charge tagged onto the quote I had reserved under. The room was very small, although well stocked. The price also skyrocketed when I requested to stay another night, to about double the original. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Despite its smallish size, the room (especially the bed) was very comfortable. Noise was not a problem. The public areas of the hotel, as well as the room itself, could have been cleaner. One staff member I dealt with was a bit surly; another was extremely friendly and helpful. The free internet terminal and luggage storage room were nice touches.

A decent hotel, but a little expensive for what you get. Rooms were large by European standards, but the walls are thin! Staff was pleasant and helpful.

There is NO A/C and it was WAYYYYYY HOT!! The room was the smallest thing Ive ever seen- couldnt even fit suitcases in it!!!! Way too much for size of room and with no air (not even a fan in the middle of August) it was a miserable stay.
