Two words - Fawlty Towers !! It's amazing King Solomon has a license to operate a hotel..!

I'm sure that this hotel has better rooms available at a higher price. Unfortunately, for £42 per night, this is about what one can expect these days in London. The neighbourhood is safe and charming. Aside from that, when I came to my room, a caulking gun was laying on the floor in front of the door. The room was minimally furnished, with a horrible smell from the plumbing and/or paint. The furniture was unfinished and unattractive, the remote control for the television was nowhere to be found and the telephone was unplugged and shoved in a drawer. But... for London in 2007, when your objective is not to stay in the room anyway, you can't beat £42 for a room with a shower and toilet en suite. Anywhere else, this room would sensibly be worth about £10-15 with breakfast inclusive. If travelling alone, I would stay there again. I would not bring my wife to this hotel unless I was certain that I was getting a much better room.

As we were looking for some cheap hotel in london, we found king solomon hotel a quite nice place to stay according to its price. however, our room was not as good as expected, we had a window leaning to the hallway (which we had to cover with a blanket), and the room was quite noisy. plus, it was a bit farther to undergournd than said in the web. with all, this hotel is a nice place to stay if you don't expect quite much about it, and its relationship price/quality is good.

We stayied 6 days in London and we found the hotel in a good position if you don't mind to travel 30 minutes to arrive to the city. The bathroom was realy small. We had a problem with towels: there were no towels in the room and we had to pick up them ourselves !!! The save of 4% was not applied to the bill !!!! And we don't know why.

I stayed in a triple. In fact there were two duble beds. I stayed 4 days I can say I had four very happy days in London in this hotel. Room was clean, bed sheets were clean, the breakfast was acceptable. Only during the first night there was a group of young people next to our room who made terrible noise till late in the night and I had to call to the reception. Otherwise I enjoyed the coziness of the roop, particularly I liked the room when we returned tired at about sun set time and I got my first drink with my family before going out again for dinner. The surroundings were good too. There were plenty of restaurants, sandwich shops markets on the same street. I liked specially the Hungarian restaurant nearby. Anybody like me who has no special expectations except cleanliness will like this hotel

there were no towels in the room,I had to walk down two flights of stairs on three occasions because the telephone was'nt working each time being promised the said towels finally on the morning of our departure had to again go down to reception and physically get my own. The staff were not helpfull at all and at breakfast I was accused by one of them of taking their toast. My advice to anyone driving down to London would be SLEEP IN YOUR OWN CAR

Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è soddisfacente. L'unica nota positiva èlavicinanza con le stazioni metro. Colazione scarsa, bagno sporco, doccia otturata. Personale poco attento e non molto attento.

i realise we paid for a budget hotel but i have stayed in much better places for less! the corridors to the rooms were dark, dank and smelly and the room very basic. the shower head in the bathroom was broken, as was the bathroom door, which would not close, and we has repeated problems with our keycard, which frequently decided NOT to let us back into the room! not unpleasant to stay there but not an enjoyable experience either! the breakfast on the other hand was quite nice, given that we were somewhat worried about what to expect!

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic and some are on the small side. Breakfast is also basic consisting of toast, jam, boiled eggs, cheese, and a selection of drinks. The biggest problem that we encountered was that reception claimed that they had no notification of the booking from Venere, so, we were lucky to get a room. Otherwise I would reccommend this hotel.

It's so difficult finding cheap accomodation in London with free parking outside. King Salomon Hotel is a good solution for that. 5 minutes walking for the nearest tube station. Only a small problem: water temperature in the shower was really impossible to regulate! Too hot!!

hi, good location - golders green station - tube, busses to downtown and also direct coach from/to stansted. hotel was fine, warm welcome at arrival (after changing at the desk was poor), rooms quite small, but enough for what we needed. everyday the same breakfast, but kosher :-) wonderful pub - white swan, just 2 mins walk fróm the hotel and good lunch and dinning facilities all around. U get what u pay for - 50 a night in London???

The location of the hotel is good and the online price is reasonable. However, unlike the statement regarding payments at the time of cheching out, we were asked to pay in full at our arrival. Staff are too keen to clean rooms early and they are intrusive and obsessive with knocking doors and asking to leave. The building, with very steeped staircases, does not cater for disables AT ALL. The overall quality of the rooms is poor, also considering the competition from other Hotels, far better equipped for a few extra pounds.

You get what you pay for - £45 per night - scruffy place - in all fairness would not recommend - feel that photos shown on website do not accurately reflect real life!

The hotel was undergoing a refurbishment. If we would have know this we would have looked elsewhere. On a positive note it looks as if it will be quite nice when it's finished. But for GBP 50 in London, not bad. The same price in another city/country would have given me a much better hotel/location etc.

It was a good hotel, the price and quality were well related, the only thing it that it was kind of far of the center of London, even by the tube, it was about 30 minutes, but besides it it was pretty well...the breakfast was great!!!

This Hotel shouldn't have the right to keep 2 **. We had a very poor room for the first 2 nights. The walls are so thin that you can hear every noise. The second 2 nights we could finaly change the room, as we had water entering in the roof. For only to sleep it might be OK. I wouldn't go back to this hotel. Breakfast wasn't really good so that we had to go outside.

We reserved two rooms: one was fine but the other (nr. 30)was very poor. But this is the only negative thing in my feedback. Rooms are not very large but the breakfast yes!! Employees are very kind and surround the guests with everything they need
